Our Quarterly OP and ED Review! Winter ‘08-’09!

It's time once again for Hey, Say, Anime's music review!
Just like last season, we’re here giving you our personal insight on the anime openings and endings of the season. This also includes some longer-than-13 episode anime that have changed their OP’s and ED’s, so if you aren’t watching anything new this season, still read through the post, okay?

The laws of nature do not allow “Akikan” and “music” to reside in the same sentence.
I have to disagree with the ToraDora! decisions (most of them). I love all of ToraDora!’s songs because they’re so catchy. I’ve been unable to get Silky Heart and Orange out of my head for the past week, and it’s not an unpleasant sensation (though it is very annoying when I’m trying to take a hugely major test).
I’ll admit that the animation to Orange was pretty bad, but it is really catchy, gah!
Bonjour.
Wait, wasn’t that supposed to go fir-

I agree with your first statement.
I disagree with your second statement though, fangzhao. Even though Toradora songs are indeed catchy and I will never deny that, it doesn’t mean it’s musically good enough to receive 9-10’s from most of us. I love many songs and I would listen to them over and over again but my musical side will stop me from going overboard and giving them 10’s when they don’t deserve it.
I hope you understand what I’m trying to say.

Oh hell no..Anemoi(Sora wo Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai) and Orange (Toradora) are nice songs…>_< well we all have different tastes in music…

I lean more toward not really different taste in music but more toward different opinion on music. Lots of us are into music so our ratings are pretty accurate when it comes to how creative/good a song is musically-wise. But whether or not the song gives you a good feeling or if it seems “nice” in your terms is up to the person.
Both the songs you list give off a nice sort of pleasant feeling but it doesn’t mean it should deserves 10 (more so when comparing the songs to each other). I hope you understand what I mean. ^^
