Bakuman Chapter 22: Nuisance and Youth

Minnie: Exactly like Saiko says, this is the chapter I’ve been waiting for since last week. The chapter about how exactly Saiko will go about being his rival’s assistant. To me, it seems like a smack to the ego. If I am drawing constantly and my partner is going out to kiss his girlfriend, I’ll not be happy either and make hasty decisions. On the plus side though, I think Saiko will make some money out of this as well as experience. One, he can take this opportunity to learn more about Eiji and his style. Two, he can learn what it’s like to be an assistant. Plus, instead of drawing by himself in his studio, he can do it at Eiji’s apartment! Score! But then again, it means there will be a LOT less Shujin this chapter and he’s my favorite character! We’ll see what happens then…

Bakuman Chapter 21: A Wall and a Kiss~

After a long break, Bakuman is back! With sports day~

Minnie: I am sick. Woe is me. But I am feeling better so I’ve been blogging all day because there’s a chance I’ll be outside in the fresh air all day tomorrow. Besides school, I usually don’t go out much on the weekend. It’s not that I have no life. It’s because I’m a writer and I like to stay indoors, typing. In any case, I don’t like to blog when I’m outside doing stuff so that’s understandable right? I’ll just work twice as hard today! Plus, Bakuman is out. Hurray. Bakuman Chapter 20: The Future and the Stairway

Miyoshi is growing on me. I hope this is a good sign.

Minnie: Bakuman is finally updated after a break from Shounen Jump. This chapter is going to be good I hope because it starts off with a happy Miyoshi running in and announcing the news about Miho’s first role as a voice actress. Of course Saiko has to remind her that it’s a small role and that she is not up to being a main heroine for their anime yet. They are not getting a manga serialized soon either and with anime, it is a distant away. A miracle almost. Marriages seems so far away for these two lovebirds. Sigh.

Minnie: I am a day late with Bakuman! I can’t believe it! I love this manga to bits but I guess I can’t really write a blog entry when I’m boggled down with Risk from yesterday and some late night reading. I am very hungry for food so what does that mean? It’s time to type up a blog entry for Bakuman! Last week, our two heroes Saiko and Shujin insist on going mainstream with their manga, only to be criticized by their editor Hattori for it. Minnie: Hi everyone. Yesterday, I went Christmas shopping with my fellow writer Koala so I haven’t had time to review anything. But it’s all right! I love going outside once in a while too. ^_~ Today, one of my favorite ongoing mangas updated- Bakuman. It is one of the newer mangas with only sixteen chapters out. Still, it’s been very enjoyable to read and I will start blogging it here from now on. I hope my manga reviews are as in depth as my anime ones…
