Steve: Hello. This is Steve with your mid-season review. I would like to take a moment to say that I beat Minnie at posting for once. Anyways, I am doing this to increase my post counts to state what I think of this sleepy Winter season. Despite the Winter Season having a lot of uninteresting shows, there are a couple of worthy mentions. Warning: Steve biasness is extremely high. Proceed with caution.

Steve: Is it my time to shine already? I feel like Asu No Yoichi is updating faster than usual this week. It doesn’t bug me though. Out of the three anime I am blogging for Hey, Say, Anime, I like this one the best. This tells you a lot about my other two…
I’m actually a pretty big fan of Washizu. He’s looks and often acts like a thug, but he feels like he has the heart of a Samurai. I’m also admittedly sort of a Wa-san/Ibuki shipper. Of course, I’m also a realist, and it’s pretty obviously that Yoichi/Ibuki is the OTP of the pairing, so I was actually thinking the other day that Ayame/Washizu might make an interesting pairing, both in how their personalities play off each other and in the whole “we’re not seconds” idea. So yeah, it was fun to see them interacting in this episode for sure.
I’m glad I’m not crazy for finding this pairing fun. Obviously, Yoichi/Ibuki will happen but there are so many other possibilities out there. I hope they don’t go with the obvious choice and leave some hope for the other shippings.
Also, I’m a fan of Washizu too.

Steve: Here is my Asu No Yoichi review! I am a little late this review. I am very busy this week thanks to a lot of tests popping up before Spring Break. I will try to make most of my free time for the blog. Last week, I am behind in everything. I will try to do not do that again. Minnie and Garrick depend on me for the harem/weird anime and I will not let them done. What is up with Yoichi? More harem goodness!
